On September 9, 2025, Bradley A. Maron, MD, Co-Executive Director of MPower’s University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing (UM-IHC), was awarded the Melvin Sharoky, MD Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM).
The endowed professorship reflects Dr. Maron’s extraordinary contributions to research, education, and clinical innovation. He is a nationally recognized leader in pulmonary hypertension and precision medicine.
Dr. Maron leads the UM-IHC with fellow Co-Executive Director Adam Porter, PhD, from the University of Maryland, College Park.
